Meet Our Dental Team in Edmonton

Meet Roya, our friendly and experienced Office Manager. She has over 20 years in the dental field, including 10 years in office management, and loves helping the office run smoothly while making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Roya is fluent in Farsi, Hindi and English. Outside of work, Roya enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Meet Jenny, a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist. Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Science Specialization in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2022, and has been practicing dental hygiene since. Passionate about all aspects of dental hygiene, Jenny stays committed to continuous education and specialized training to improve patient care. She believes in personalized treatment plans, making patients feel comfortable, and promoting long-term oral health as it relates to overall health. Jenny is fluent in English and Hokkien, allowing her to assist a diverse range of patients more effectively. In her free time, Jenny enjoys playing badminton, spending time with her friends & family, and chasing after her 1-year-old daughter, Eleanor.

You will always see Ashley smiling at Magrath Dental. Her extensive dental career began in 2004 when she graduated from NAIT's dental assisting program. Since then, she has worked as a Registered Dental Assistant, dental administrator and trainer before going back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Driven by her passion for learning, she is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Health Science in hopes of pursuing an educator role for future dental hygienists.

Known for her attention to detail and genuine love for patient care, Ashley is all about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for in her chair. Her friendly, easygoing nature and gentle approach can help even the most nervous patients relax. She believes in taking the time to listen to concerns, explain things in a way that makes sense, and share personalized home-care tips that fit naturally into patients’ daily routine.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dog, getting together with friends for board games, and attempting home DIY projects. She also enjoys bicycling, trying new foods (especially anything spicy!), understanding pharmacokinetics, and working on creative projects

Rhesa graduated from Liceo de Cagayan University in the Philippines in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Shortly thereafter, she and her family relocated to Alberta. In 2020, she discovered her passion for dentistry and went on to earn her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in Toronto in early 2022. She has been practicing in Edmonton since then.

With a strong foundation in health sciences, Rhesa strives to bring a gentle, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to her practice. She values continuing education and is committed to creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.
Outside the clinic, Rhesa enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations, traveling, and pursuing her passion for music.

Sarah graduated with honors from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2022. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal oral health while building lasting, trusted relationships with her patients. Outside the office, Sarah enjoys trying new restaurants, staying active through fitness, hiking trails in the summertime, and unwinding with a good movie

Sonia is a Registered Dental Assistant with advanced practices in scaling and orthodontics. She graduated from the NAIT Dental Assisting Technology Program in 2018. She began at Magrath Dental as a practicum student and has taken on the position of a dental assistant after graduation. She loves the diverse responsibilities that comes with being a dental assistant. Outside of work, Sonia enjoys spending time with family and friends while trying good food around the city.

Melissa is a Registered Dental Assistant graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2014. For Melissa everyday is a different day and she really enjoys the challenges of her job as well as the procedures Magrath Dental takes on. Outside of work you will find her playing volleyball and spending time camping in the mountains with family and friends.

Meet Ally Evans, a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant. Ally graduated from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in the year of 2024. Ally loves to meet new patients and build strong relationships with them. She always strives to give quality care. In her free time, you will find Ally in the mountains with her family or baking her favorite sweet treats at home.

Meet Hera, our dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician. She joined Magrath Dental in 2022 and plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the clinic running smoothly. Hera has completed WHMIS and Infection Prevention & Control training and continues to ensure she is well-informed with best practices.

While Hera does not work directly with patients, her work is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient dental environment. Before entering the dental field, Hera was a teacher and an administrator specializing in accounting and payroll.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and cherishing quality time with her husband and son.

Meet Ania Drewnik, a dedicated and experienced Administrative Assistant. Ania graduated with a Unit Clerk Diploma from Norquest College 2019. Ania is fluent in English, French and Polish, allowing her to assist a diverse range of patients more effectively. In her free time, Ania enjoys spending time with her family including their Berna doodle Mila, working out, staying active running and hiking and riding her motorcycle in the summer months. Ania is passionate about traveling and meeting new people and learning about new cultures.

Meet Leah Massey, a dedicated and experienced Dental Administrator. Leah previously worked as a Dental Assistant for 6 years before discovering her passion for the front end. She joined the Magrath Dental team in 2019 and loves seeing every patient's smile at the end of their visit. In her free time, Leah enjoys spending time with her daughter, discovering new restaurants, and travelling!
